Our colleague Ayesha participated in the Seventh Doctoral School of the SMARTGYsum project in Gdansk (Poland), 26-29 May.
An elevator pitch competition organised by professors from the University of Extremadura was held during the course โ€˜From the Lab to the Market: Implementing Business Plans for Innovators in Energy Systemsโ€™, Ayesha won the competition and received a certificate of recognition.

The 6th Doctoral School of the SMARTGYsum European Training Network project brings a new appointment among the seven main training events of the network organised during this project. The school will continue the participation of ESRs in training courses.
It will also include social events to raise awareness among consortium members, improve research integration among project beneficiaries and partners, and establish a long-lasting collaboration between ESRs.

Our colleague Ayesha from Senergyps attended the entire event from 20-25 January, participating in all the courses.

The programme consisted of the following:

17 September: Soft Skills Course I + BrightLoop Converters visit.
18 September: Technical Courses II and III from 09:00 to 18:00.
19 September: Technical Courses IV and V from 09:00 to 18:00.
20 September: Technical Courses VI and VII from 09:00 to 18:00.

The 4th SMARTGYsum Doctoral School boosts academic excellence with high-level training.

The Fourth Doctoral School of the SMARTGYsum project of the European Training Network brings a new appointment among the six main training events of the network that will be organised during this project. The school will continue the participation of ESRs in special courses, each of which will award a certificate worth 1 ECTS credit. It will also include social events to get to know each other among consortium members, improve research integration among project beneficiaries and partners, and establish a long-lasting collaboration among ESRs. ESRs will also present their activities to EU experts during a one-day evaluation meeting.

Our colleague Victor from Senergyps attended the event on 29 January 2024, for the mid-project follow-up meeting with the Project Officer.

It is an event that promises to be a key meeting point for students and professionals involved in advanced research.

Packaging 4.0: A susTainabLe And coNnecTed logIstic System – (ATLANTIS)

The main objective of the project is to develop and boost the logistics capacity of Senergy Products and Services. For this purpose, it is crucial to find the optimal and automated logistic system for the reception/shipping process of electronic devices with different characteristics and specifications, especially highly sensitive ones. This logistics system will cover the identification and characterization of the component or equipment, its packaging, as well as its tracking and traceability. This whole process will be framed within Senergy’s commitment to ecological sustainability and the circular economy prism.

DEvelopMent Of miCro ReprogrAmming Tool- (DEMOCRAT)

The main objective of the project is to develop devices that allow the communication and reprogramming of microprocessors of the different manufacturers of electronic equipment that the company supports. Different read/write devices developed by Senergy need to be configured in order to reprogram the different microprocessors targeted. Thanks to the execution of this project it will be possible to access the firmwares and programs of the power electronic equipment, allowing to carry out a total repair and recovery of the equipment.

Call: European Researchers’ Night 2023.

This is a scientific dissemination project promoted by the European Commission within the Marie Skล‚odowska-Curie actions of the Horizon Europe program, which has been taking place simultaneously in almost 400 European cities since 2005. In Spain there are eight projects funded by the Commission for the years 2022 and 2023, to which are added two other associated projects.

The event took place on September 29, with hundreds of free activities in which researchers brought their work, the benefits they bring to society and their impact on everyday life to the public through experiments, workshops, experiences, etc., in a playful way.
